Based in Paris, the Fondinvest Capital team consists of seasoned private equity professionals. Beyond its proven investment skills, the team benefits from strong operational skills that help to maintain high risk control standards and to provide our investors with transparent and objective information. Our fund investment programs date back to the mid 80’s, making us one of the most experienced players in the market.

Charles Soulignac Chairman & CEO

In addition to private equity investment, Charles Soulignac has solid experience in industry, consulting, and finance.

He founded Fondinvest Capital in 1994.

In 1989, he joined CDC-Participations where he managed investments in private equity funds and direct equity investments. Prior to joining CDC-Participations, Charles was head of the Industrial and Finance Department for Banque Régionale d’Escompte et de Dépôts (BRED). He was in charge of specialized investments, especially France’s first LBOs. Before that, he served in a US management consultancy, then in industry, notably with Potain. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA) as well as on its Investor Relations Committee.

Charles earned an engineering degree from INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées) in Lyon and an MBA from the CPA (Centre de Perfectionnement des Affaires) in Paris.

Laurent Gillot  Managing Director

In addition to private equity investment, Laurent has extensive experience in corporate finance, consulting and financial analysis.

He joined Fondinvest Capital in July 2015.

Prior to this, he spent three years as a Managing Partner of a private equity and management consulting company. He also held the positions of Managing Director for private equity FoF managers Gimar Capital Investissement and ACG PE, Investment Director for Fondinvest Capital, Head of business development at Médi-Partenaires (Fund then private hospitals group), and Commercial attaché at the French Embassy in Bangkok. He started his career as an associate at CDC-Participations.

Laurent holds a Masters Degree in Economics and Corporate Management and a Post-Graduate Degree in Corporate General Policy and Strategy from Paris-Dauphine University.

Sonia Radic Chief Financial Officer

In addition to her experience in the Private Equity funds management sector, that she practices at Fondinvest Capital since April 2017, as Chief Financial Officer, Sonia Radic started her professional career in Internal Control. 

Then she spent about 6 years at Deloitte, as Senior Auditor and Consultant in the Asset management and Private Equity groups.

Sonia is a Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University graduate (Master 1), in economics and management and a Paris 5 Descartes University graduate (Master 2), in Audit and Risk Management.
