Structured around a core investment strategy that focuses on the European small and mid-market, our private equity investment solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients and to achieve superior long term performance.
Primary Funds of Funds
Fondinvest Capital is one of the oldest investors in the European mid-market with its first investments completed in 1994. Since then, the company has launched four primary funds of funds, two of which are fully divested.
Fondinvest Capital targets investment in European funds ranging in size from €100 million to €1 billion, and especially in buyout and expansion capital funds.
Through its primary funds, Fondinvest Capital provides its investors with a high performance over the long term while optimizing the risk / return profile.
Fondinvest Capital created one of the first secondary investment funds in Europe. Since 1996, we have launched four secondary funds, two of which are fully divested.
Our investment strategies have remained consistent since inception: acquisitions of European small and mid-sized funds in off-radar transactions away from competitive processes with a deal size between €0.5 million and €50 million.
Through its secondary funds, Fondinvest Capital aims to build a portfolio of mature and high quality assets generating a quicker return on investment compared to primary investments.
We are recognized as a reliable buyer, responsive to the needs of the seller and ready to make a fair offer. We can execute deals quickly with the utmost discretion.
Separately Managed Accounts
Since 2000, Fondinvest Capital offers discretionary and non-discretionary separate accounts for investors seeking tailor-made solutions for their private equity asset allocation.
Building on its extensive investment experience in the European primary and secondary markets, Fondinvest Capital brings its expertise to its clients in terms of asset allocation strategy, fund selection and portfolio management.
In September 2010, Fondinvest Capital became a signatory to the United Nation’s Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI). These Principles are a set of voluntary guidelines for investors wishing to incorporate environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues into investment decision-making.
Fondinvest believes that ESG issues can positively impact the performance of investment portfolios. For that purpose, extra-financial issues are taken into account to evaluate a private equity fund.
